Yep, I remember them as a kid.
It's not one of those things that you think much about - and of course you still see them going strong on store shelves today. They're fun, yummy - and there is no other candy QUITE like them.
At any rate - if you are interested, there are some fun facts to find out about this "retro" candy (although maybe I have a funny definition of "retro" since I think of it as describing something that has sort of disappeared from the "current norm") - including the fact that they have been around since the 1940's, the company is run by 3 gals - plus some more fun stuff.
